Job Description:- Indian Air Force- IAF, conducts Fast Track Selection (FTS) Commissioned Officers in Metrology at Chandigargh:
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/Mathematics /Statistics/Geography/ Computer Applications/Environmental Sciences/Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/Agriculture Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment /Geo physics/Environmental Biology. All Applicants should have scored a least 50% marks in aggregate of all paper of post-Graduation put together and should have studied Maths and Physics in Graduation with a least of 55% marks in both .All the applicants should be able to offer provisional/original PG certificate allotted by the University latest by 15 Dec 2012 .
Physical Standards: Height and Weight. Least height: Men 157.5 Cms, Women 152 Cms with connected weight. (ii) All other medical criteria would be evaluated by the Air Force Medical Authorities whose decision on the fitness would be final.
