ECIL, a Public Sector Enterprise is looking for dynamic and result-oriented persons, on contract basis for an initial period of one year (extendable by 2 more years based on organizational needs) against the project requirement in Antarctica for the season 2012-2014 as per the details given below :
Position : MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (For Winter Season in Antarctica)
No.of posts : 01
Contract Pay (Fixed) per month : Rs. 76,050/- in Antarctica For Winter, Rs.55,800/- in India
Position : TECHNICIAN (Installation & Commissioning Activities–During Summer Season)
No.of posts : 01
Contract Pay (Fixed) per month : Rs.33,500/- for Summer , Rs.40,250/- for Winter in Antarctica, Rs.20,000/-
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Post No.1 : Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication / Diploma in Engineering ECE with 5/10 years’ experience in the area of Satellite Communications, High Power Amplifiers, Up-Down Converters, Low Noise Amplifiers, Modems, Servo Control Systems meant for medium/large Earth
Station Antennas. Should have adequate knowledge of first level trouble shooting of the above mentioned equipment and should be able to do repairs at the line replacement unit (LRU) level.
Post No. 2 :Matriculation + ITI (EM). Around 10 years’ experience in Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ground Communication Equipment like Medium sized Earth Station Antennas, High Power Amplifiers, Up-Down Converters, Low Noise Amplifiers, Modems, Radome Installation.
Should help ECIL team members in Installation activities of two platforms needed for installing Data Reception Station and Data Communication Station also and have adequate experience of using general purpose Microwave Test Equipment like Spectrum Analyser/ Oscilloscope/Power meters etc.
Upper Age Limit : 45 years as on 31.07.2012
