Recruitment in Odisha PSC Lecturers opsc.nic.in for Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya
Odisha Public Service Commission(OPSC), Bhubaneswar as per Recruitment Advertisement NO.05 OF 2012-13 invites applications for job post of Lecturers in different disciplines of the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar.
1. Lecturer in Odissi Vocal = 2(two) Post
2. Lecturer in Hindustan Vocal = 1(one) Post
3. Lecturer in Oddissi Dance = 2(two) post
4. Lecturer in Tabla 1(one) post
5. Lecturer in Flute 1(one) post
6. Lecturer in Violin 1(one) post
7. Lecturer in Sitar 1(one) 1 post
8. Lecturer in Drama 1(one) post
Qualification: Candidate should have possessed Master’s Degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent Examination with at least 55% of marks from recognized University/Educational Institution. Provided that candidate in possession of Ph.D. Degree or experience as a performing Artist and teaching experience in a Government or recognized Institution will be given preference.
Age: A candidate should be under 32(thirty-two) years and over 21(twenty- one) years of age on the 1st January 2012 i.e. he/she must not have born earlier than 2nd January,1980 and not later than 1st January, 1991. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to categories of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C), Women, Ex-servicemen and by 10 (ten) years for Physically Handicapped candidates.
Application Fee: A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.300/-(Rupees three hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of Odisha only are exempted from payment of this fee.
Selection Method: The recruitment shall be made through a competitive written examination and Viva Voce test to be conducted by the Commission in accordance with the provision of Odisha Culture Service.
