Tumkur University, Tumkur is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Professors / Director of Physical Education, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors. There are 36 vacancies in the following disciplines : Bio-Chemistry - 2, Bio-Technology - 2, Business Administration - 3, Commerce - 2, Computer Science - 4, Electronics - 2, Library and Information Science - 1, Mathematics - 8, Physics - 7, Social Work - 1, Director of Physical Education - 1.
1. Professor / Director of Physical Education : 5 posts.
2. Associate Professors : 4 posts.
3. Assistant Professors : 27 posts.
Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 300 in the form of DD drawn in favour of Finance Officer, Tumkur University, Tumkur and payable at Tumkur. The application forms can be downloaded from website : www.tumkuruniversity.in.
